Big upgrade for Black Pepper this episode. His energy balls got an aesthetic overhaul and a bigger explosion, his cape gained the ability to block and return attacks, he shows off the very first signs of some CQC ability, and HE GETS A RIDER KICK! Toei, sometimes I hate you for the shit you do, but sometimes I freakin' love you TO BITS.

Now he needs to develop two more things:
1: An attack where he throws that boss hat like a saw blade.
2: The ability to communicate with girls the PreCure. *faceplam* Use your words, Takumi.

Gosh, has there even been a single filler type episode at all yet? Really impressive.

I think it's safe to say this series has some of the best fights.

Well, we're starting by Takumi just running off to try to "help" without having all the details, so we have a good parallel to work with.

I feel like this episode is missing like, one line of dialogue though, where Black Pepper says something about trying to work with the group or whatever. I guess we kinda get there in the end, but it felt kinda off.

Yeah, from starting with them all in battle to that bit after the fight where the scene feels like there should be another few seconds where Precious tells Black Pepper something, this episode feels like it's been cut off in weird places.

I’ve only seen about 5 pc’s so I know I’m still missing A LOT but I always have seen people say how certain ones are so amazing compared to others. And while what I’ve seen all felt just about the same level good (the first is a special exception) BUT some reason I am loving this one and having more fun then I ever had watching.
